The famous fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg speaks for the first time on Greek television in the show "365 Moments," with Sofia Papaioannou.
Diane von Furstenberg, who has built an empire in the fashion world, has dedicated her life to empowering women. In the 1970s, at just 23 years old, she succeeded in building her business and living "the life of a man in the body of a woman," as she puts it.
It is not widely known that Diane's mother, Lily Nahmias Halfin, is of Greek descent. She was born in Thessaloniki and later lived in Belgium. She joined the Resistance, was captured by the Nazis, and sent to a concentration camp. Diane talks about how her mother's strength, having survived the horrors of the concentration camps, shaped her and how she taught her that "fear is not an option."
A woman of inspiration for the past 50 years shares the experiences that shaped her, empowered her, and speaks about Greece.
