The "Open Book" series, produced by ERT in 2024, features one-hour episodes hosted by Giannis Sarakatsanis, dedicated exclusively to books and Greek authors.

In each episode, we highlight contemporary Greek publishing activity by hosting its creators. We recommend children's books for young readers, visit an established author who shares insights into their daily life, and renowned artists discuss the books that changed their lives!

We host three of the oldest publishers in the country (Ikaron, Estia, Govostis), who explain what Greeks prefer to read and how Greek writing has evolved over the years.

We meet Theodore Papakostas, known as Archaeostoryteller, to discuss how well Greeks believe they know their history, and he reveals what will be included in his next book that takes us beyond borders!

Anna Vagena shares which books have changed her life, and Elpiniki Papadopoulou introduces us to the reading community of "Diavazontas" (Reading).
