A new season of adventure, exploration, and discovering beautiful places and even more wonderful people begins for the show “Here We Are” with Jérôme Kaluta.
In the third season of this unique travel documentary, Jérôme explores new, distant or closer destinations and delves into the secrets, traditions, and way of life of their inhabitants.
He becomes a sea wolf in Greek islands and seaside towns, climbs mountains, traverses gorges, tries hard work or delicate arts, cooks with top products from the Greek land, explores local legends, and becomes a farmer, shepherd, sailor, or captain! Always guided by the desire to become one with the place and make new friends, always with a ukulele in hand and an improvised melody and a verse, exceptionally dedicated to the people who give life and identity to each region.
And if you happen to meet him this summer, just follow along and get into the rhythm: "We've Arrived, Here We are!"

"Southern Evia" [With English subtitles]
Episode 10
In a region full of contrasts and unique beauties, the show “Φτάσαμε” (We Have Arrived) with Jérôme Kalouta travels, exploring the treasures, secrets, and authentic character of Southern Evia.
The journey begins in Karystos, a beautiful town with an island-like atmosphere year-round, and continues to Styra, where a great mystery spanning centuries awaits: the famous Dragon Houses, which stand imposingly on the peaks of Southern Evia for about 2,500 years, without foundations or connecting materials between their massive slabs.
A little outside Karystos, in a picturesque setting among trees, flowing waters, and the Church of the Holy Trinity, Jérôme uncovers the musical tradition of Southern Evia and a musical instrument that is the precursor of many other instruments. With the help of a lovable "mountain guide," he learns that melody can be created from even the humblest of objects, including a green leaf.
In the scenic village of Avlonari, Jérôme meets a group of women who introduce him to the secrets and unique sweetness of the local almond baklava. A special experience awaits him in the small but beautiful village of Antia, where the locals still communicate through a whistling language that resembles birdsong, which has drawn the attention of major international media.
The episode concludes musically with the members of a youthful band that, starting from Aliveri and blending tradition with hip-hop, has managed to become known throughout Greece. “Koinoi Thnitoi” (Common Mortals), one of the most popular youth bands, discusses with Jérôme the opportunities and quests of a band from the Greek countryside and sings together about “the children who don't behave well”...
