A series of hour-long episodes produced in 2023-24, "Wild Greece" is an exciting journey featuring two friends, Ilias and Grigoris, who guide us through the unexplored paths of Greece's wild nature.
Ilias, with his extensive scientific knowledge, and Grigoris, with his passion for exploration, bring images and experiences to our screens that are largely unknown to the general public. As they traverse inaccessible areas, mountains, rivers, and forests, viewers enjoy rare and stunning visuals of the natural environment.
What makes "Wild Greece" special is its blend of entertainment and education. The viewer becomes part of the journey, gaining knowledge that is often rare and unknown, while also encountering wildlife that may be close to us, yet we know little about.
The aim of the show is to raise awareness among the audience through entertainment and knowledge, especially during a critical time for the ecosystems of our planet.

In this expedition, the protagonists of Wild Greece explore the largest marine protected area in Europe, the Alonissos and Northern Sporades National Park!
Our guides at Wild Greece will show you around. Starting their trek with a hike in the gorge of Kastanorema, they realize that Alonissos, apart from picturesque villages and beaches, also hides beautiful wild landscapes! They come across a huge caterpillar, which is actually a larva of the giant peacock moth. At night, they spot a honeysuckle. Take a dip in the sparkling blue waters of the national park and explore the incredible underwater world! They visit the Mom Center to learn about the Mediterranean seal and patrol the protected waters of the park with Sea Shepherd, Greece's boat, accompanied by dolphins! The story of the two main characters, Ilias and Grigoris, comes to an end with a hike to the impressive and uninhabited Yioura island. Apart from its diverse wildlife and flora, the island is also home to the cave of the Cyclops!
