Countless discos opened their doors to welcome the youth of the sousa, shoulder pads, youthful naivety, and innocence. The "amusement park for adults" had it all: colorful lights, disco balls, mirrors, loud rhythmic music, and a dancefloor ready for takeoff! Dance moves and rhythmic blues, youthful flirting, wild motorcycle races – all took place in the world of disco, making them the ultimate hangout spot for young people.

Discos left an indelible mark on the 1980s. They were breeding grounds for rising disco music stars and DJs of the time, and they were closely linked to the entertainment industry, with their presence being essential in the hundreds of videotapes featuring beloved young actors "giving it their all" on the dancefloor to impress their love interests.

Time passed. The legendary discos closed their doors and were replaced by abandoned ruins and impersonal buildings. And yet, some survive, defying the times and those who associated them with kitsch and subculture lifestyle.

They remain alive, have devoted fans, revive sweet memories of the past, and transport them unchanged into the present. They are the ones that sprinkle a bit of stardust on the dreary backdrop of modern, impersonal Greek reality.

The microcosm of the disco comes to life on screen with select survivors. With their confessions, they will keep us company (in alphabetical order):
