Social drama, produced in 1969.

A young teacher arrives in the remote village of Agrampeli.
In the nearly dilapidated village due to emigration, he will attempt to provide education for the children and bridge the differences among the residents, which stem from the abuses of a powerful landowner.

He falls in love with the daughter of the village president and struggles for the construction of a road that will connect the village to the outside world.

The landowner and his eldest son will react against the road construction and ultimately manage to prevent its completion, but not without paying a high price!
