The documentary follows the Greek music band Encardia which inspires, creates and presents music and songs through the rich musical tradition of the Greek-speaking people of Southern Italy.

Since the band's foundation, its members have been traveling to Southern Italy, researching and highlighting two basic elements of the popular culture that flourished locally: "Griko" and tarantella pizzica folk dance.

The documentary was filmed in 2010 in the region of Grecia Salenitna in Puglia and mainly in the Greek-speaking villages and cities of Southern Italy, in Milos, Athens and other places where the band tours. (Patras, Nafpaktia, etc)

The documentary was awarded the Grand Audience Award at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival.
