In 1968, Georgios Papandreou is having an operation in a central hospital in Athens. Kyveli, separated for years from the great love of her life, goes to see him. How did these two eminent figures of Greek history come together? One in politics, one in theater? It all begins a long time ago...

1968
Papandreou's funeral. The junta supporters were proven wrong, a wave of people gathers at the funeral, and the secret police strikes mercilessly. Gkouveris prepares a statement denouncing Communism for Kyveli to sign. Fontas links actor Krontiras who has died with the couple who have committed suicide in Faliro. Olga prepares the Sunday table, but she is hiding a secret. A packet of quinine. Fontas returns home but is stalled by a neighbor. Valentini, her great-granddaughter, plans to open a museum with all the costumes and theatrical performances of Kyveli. Gkouveris coerces Kyveli into signing a letter of submission to the Junta. The trial of Panagoulis begins.
PAST
Kyveli has to deal with the absence of Georgios who is absorbed in politics and the trip she is to take with her son. Kyveli's daughters, who have inherited her talent and are successful performers in both theater and cinema, come to bid her farewell. Kyveli and Giorgakis go to the States, where he is attended by the best doctors. In Athens, Papandreou makes a move that dissolves their marriage. He does not remain indifferent to Serrano. An accident in his car with the singer inside. Kyveli sends him a telegram; it is her last communication with him for years until his final days.
