Comedy, produced in 1972.
Odysseas Akrivos, an amiable watchmaker who has organized his life like a clock, lives with his son Angelos, a modern young man who plays music in a rock band, his daughter Katina, who is in love with a modest young man named Gerasimos, and Efterpe.
Their otherwise quiet and well-regulated lives are occasionally disrupted by the visits of the turbulent widow of his former business partner. The widow's name is Electra, and she is accompanied by the coffeehouse owner Tryfonas. Meanwhile, Euterpe remains unmarried because the barber who admires her demands a dowry to marry her.
One night, while Odyseas is at a nightclub, intending to arrange a marriage between Tryfonas and Electra, he discovers an unsuspected aspect of his children's lives and becomes completely unsettled. He loses his composure and decides to retreat to his son-in-law's estate, only to find it isn't the peaceful refuge he expected. He decides to return to his work and the changing world, without asking for anyone's opinion.
