Night at Kyveli's house, everyone is asleep, the phone rings, it's not good news. Kyveli learns that Giorgis has passed away. The junta is not happy with the timing, the funeral will coincide with the Panagoulis trial. Margarita with Sofia and Giorgos, Andreas' children, are coming. Kyveli and Kotopouli are now friends. Kyveli is confronted with the infidelities of Giorgis. Their neighbor in Kastri also fell victim to his charms. The Nazi party is rising dangerously in Germany. Papandreou is exiled to Kythera and the family falls into financial difficulties. Giorgakis develops encephalitis.
