Three points define the life and values of the Greek countryside: the church, the cafés, and the football field. "Village United" plows through the Greek territory and observes the communities of villages and their teams completely and... unscathed. We turn the camera to football players who compete solely for the applause and honor of the village and the team's jersey.

Tropaiouchos of Florina is a village that owes its name to Saint George the Trophy-bearer. Legend has it that whoever watches three pleas in a row and succeeds to sleep for a night in the church of St. George the Trophy-bearer, the next day he will wake up strong and free from all evil. This is because for three days the Turks would throw the Saint’s icon into the river, but the next day St. George’s icon would be again in its place inside the church, so Muslims were wondering how the icon kept finding its way back. Isn't normal for the village club to take St. George’s name?
The Tropaioforos Tropaiouchou club is a team of 18 football players in a village of 200 people. It is a group of young people, who are friends and try to continue the tradition, so they keep the team and the stadium alive even though they do not have adequate infrastructure. You see, the team's locker rooms are heated with a traditional wood stove, and there are no toilets or showers. And when the ball goes off the field and falls into the nearby stream, the waters carry it 10 km away to the next village but as St. George’s icon, the balls always return home, to the Tropaioforos village.
